We booked this hotel after reading reviews. Earlier we booked for 3 days and extended for another 3 days only because of best services of Mr mohammed wasim and spectacular view Check in: was smooth no questions asked. Location: the hotel is located next to coakers walk, walkable distance from lake, bus stand and good restaurants The room: we had booked suite room on first floor but for the sake of view Mr wasim gave us suite on second floor from where you can view mountain, valley and city right from your bed.the room is well appointed, spacious and has a big balcony. Glass wall leading to balcony from your bed is plus point. The view: view from your room and balcony is mesmerising. I am not exxagerating here, you please experience it when u stay here. View of the sunrise you should not miss. Service: you will cherish and remember services of Mr wasim. Even mr maroof is good. MR wasim is friendly, helpful and always caring. We are impressed. He even organises tours at reasonable rates Only draw back: there is no restaurant here. But you can order food from any restaurants around they will get the food or you can walk down the lake and have food in one of the good restaurants. Whats more book this hotel and enjoy your stay.

Hotel Swiss Cottage is (luxury budget hotel) located beside Coaker's walk. Easy accessibility to Bryant Park, Lake, Kodaikanal Bus stand is its location advantage. The best part is the room service, front office management and the lipsmacking home made custom made food by their inhouse restaurant. We just loved the food there. Bed Linen is changed everyday and sleeping quality is good.Car Parking is available. Mineral water and hot water (drinking purpose also is available 24/7). Deluxe rooms and Suits have a balcony to enjoy the valley view which is unavailable with the standard rooms. But the interiors and space is same for all rooms. We stayed in deluxe rooms and enjoyed feeling the clouds in our balcony. Also, balcony is quite big to sit relax and do yoga with morning sunrise. We will stay there in all our future visits.

We decided to visit Kodai for a short break and stayed at Swiss cottage, since the tourist season was beginning we decided to skip the crowd in the usual hotel we stay at, and tried this place. Must say that the central location is a major plus as it only took us 5 mins to reach all the major tourist spots, yet it is also relatively quiet and secluded. The hotel is new and beautifully furnished, the view of the mountains from the balcony is very beautiful. It is a small hotel and so the staff really took care of us. An overall comfortable and great stay, will visit again for sure.

A small pleasant hotel right next to Coakers Walk. Very close to most attractions. Quiet place. very nice room. I stayed in a deluxe room. Food was very good and reasonably priced. Overall excellent stay.
